Uniforms...Gone CrAzY!

School uniforms can be a little boring at times. Don't get me wrong - I love the concept and what uniforms represent. But, they really could use a little spicing-up. So, my new favorite addition to uniforms: crazy knee-highs. Aren't they fabulous? Love 'em!

First Day of School

I cried most of yesterday morning. Pathetic mom...I know. Aren't moms supposed to be as excited as the kids about back-to-school? I feel so lonely without the girls. Yesterday, Lauren started 1st grade (and it seemed as though she'd NEVER get home) and Paityn started Kindergarten. Sighhh.... I guess it will get easier. Sometime. Hopefully soon. But not today.

Our Trip to the BiG "Pool"

Our latest crave for vacation was more-than-satisfied with a family boating trip to Flaming Gorge. We didn't take Raegan boating last summer, so it has been all new to her this year. While at the lake, she kept grabbing her lifejacket, pointing to the lake and saying "pool." All she wanted to do was swim in the BiG "pool."

We spent quality time with YaYa,

went fishing with Pop Pop (which, by the way, Pai caught among the biggest fish with her Princess fishing pole...who says you need down riggers, fancy fishing poles and all that expensive equipment, anyway?!?),
built campfires,

ate Smores,
lost a tooth (thank goodness...that was one odd straggler - front and center, no less!),

rode in the tube (for hours on end!),

and went "fast, fast, fast" (per Raegan's continual request!).
