HaPpY HaLLoWeeN!

Pai Pai the Peacock (thanks for the fabulous costume, Ya Ya!), Roo Roo the Clown (sporting Kelly's clown costume from 1984ish - going RETRO!) and Laur the Clown (sporting her momma's costume from said year!).

Last night my girls requested an apple and carrot for dinner (singular - as in the three of them shared one apple and one carrot). I do believe they ate too much cotton candy at the school carnival. Let's see how many more sick bellies we get tonight. Bring on the candy!!

Adventures in Kanab

We ventured to Kanab for an extended weekend to celebrate my mother-in-law's birthday.

We went hiking on Saturday. Ty (Tan's youngest brother) owns a beloved polyg wagon (aka honkin' big van). So, we all piled in the van and away we went. I felt like a regular Southern Utah tourist. Thanks for the excursion, Ty!

RoUgHiN' It in the Uintah's!

Ahhhhhh....we spent a fun and ultra-relaxing weekend in the Uintah's with some great friends.

Some of the weekend highlights for the girls:

Skipping rocks in the pond,

cruising down the zip-line (Pai even braved it this year!),

playing in the sandbox,

riding 4-wheelers,

singing songs by the campfire, cooking smores, playing with friends, and fighting over which color of pumpkin flashlight they REALLY wanted!

My favorite part: chillaxin' in the hammock. Does it get any better than this?!
