Another Year Bites the Dust!

Warning: This is an EMOTIONALLY heavy post. Proceed with caution!

Yesterday was Tanner's 35th birthday. Wow! Where does the time go and how did we (I mean HE) get so old?!

I knew I loved him the day I married him. What I didn't know and understand was that my love would continue to grow, day by day. I love him more today than I ever knew was possible. He is my other half. He's the rational one when I'm the irrational one. He's the stable one when I'm the unstable one. And, together, we make one heck of a team! He completes me. I can't imagine my life without him. Tanner is undoubtedly the BEST husband and father. I really couldn't ask for more. I feel so blessed to have him by my side.

Happy birthday, Tanner! Here's to many, many more years of love and happiness. I love you!

Shocker...I've Got More Pix of the Kids to Share!

These kissing-cousin pictures of Raegan and Danzer have to be some of my all-time-favorites! Too sweet!!

We had a bunch of pictures taken of the kids at Gardner Village. A fellow Emery-County gal (and AwEsOmE photographer) took these pictures. Aimee, we LOVE the pictures. Thank you, thank you, thank you for sharing your talents with us. You are amazing!

Makin' Her Daddy Proud

Look at that form!

Lauren has been playing Itty Bitty Hoops (a city basketball league for Kindergartners). Oh my...it was so entertaining to watch. They traveled (oh did they travel - it was more like carrying the ball down the court), they fouled, they double-dribbled, they went out-of-bounds and they often shot at the wrong basket. But no one seemed to care. They were so dang cute that none of that technical stuff really mattered. And, by the end, Lauren's basketball skills were much improved. Tanner has been hoping there's a young athlete among us. There just MiGhT be some hope!

Camping: Princess Style

While Tanner was away last night, the girls and I made a huge fort out of blankets. For some strange reason I was having flashbacks of my childhood (am I the only one who loved doing this as a child?!?). Anyway, after we were all finished, we decided to have a campout in the basement fort. The girls LOVED it. Tanner and I, well, are um, just a little wee-bit tired this morning. It was a long, rather sleepless night for the adults (we were gently reminded how Paityn thrashes and talks ALL night long!). But, the kids had a ball and, after all, I'll take forts and basement campouts as long as I can get 'em!
