Her excitement about the simple things in life.
Her love for her daddy (evidenced through her huge smiles when
he comes home from work and her constant call of "da-da").

Her kissable cheeks.
The pats she gives me on the back.

The way she responds to "touchdown."
And, her big, wet, open-mouthed kisses.
Roo has been such a sweet addition to our family. We all adore her and
love her more than words can explain. Happy 1st birthday, Raegan!

The Nutcracker Ballet - Our Christmas Tradition

We look forward to the Nutcracker Ballet every year. It's such a fun tradition. The ballet tickets and lunch at Olive Garden are always Ollie's treat (as part of our Christmas gift). Lauren and Paityn really enjoy watching the ballerinas. The girls' favorite part is watching Mother Baffoon dance and seeing all of her little children run out from under her skirt.

Musical Car Seats

We've been rearranging car seats...and Raegan is finally facing forward. I just love to turn around and see her sweet smile and those cute bucky-beaver teeth! She loves facing the same way as her sisters.

My baby is getting big. Roo will be one tomorrow. It's hard to believe it's been a year already. What would life be without these sweet girlies? I feel so blessed to have three healthy, beautiful girls. Love 'em to pieces!

Thanksgiving 2008 - Part II

Tanner had to work the day before and the day after Thanksgiving this year, so we ventured to Kanab the following weekend to a have belated holiday dinner. We had a nice, relaxing couple of days with Tanner's parents and two of his brothers and their families.

Thanksgiving 2008

We celebrated Thanksgiving at Ollie and Pierre's house this year. It was the best meal I ever remember having at Grandma Ollie's house. We love her dearly.

On a side note, Ollie went to the doctor on Friday. As many of you already know, she is battling breast cancer. As of Friday, she had a clean bill-of-health and doesn't have to be seen for another five months. Yeah! The doctor also mentioned that her medication could be causing mood swings. Hmmm...it's nice to have something to blame that feisty energy on!! I couldn't imagine life without her - she's the only family that lives anywhere near us. And, well, her feistiness just keeps life interesting! We wouldn't trade it for anything!

The Birthday That Kept Going and Going and Going

My Bugga-Boo turned 6...without my permission, of course. If I had it my way, my girlies would stay little forever.

We started celebrating a few days before Lauren's actual birthday. We had a girlfriend birthday party at Chuck E. Cheese (which was so fun - it's a new addition to our community so it still has the novelty-factor going for it). Tanner and I just happened to enjoy it too! We loved trying to out-shoot each other in basketball.

Lauren has such a cute group of friends in our neighborhood and in her school class. It is so fun to have them over for playgroups and playdates. They are such sweethearts!


And then, there was her actual birthday. It fell on a Sunday, so we kept it pretty low-key. She wanted Brinkley and Ashley to come over for dinner and cake. They were so sweet and brought her the Hungry Hippos game. Talk about flash backs to my childhood!

Then, we celebrated with my side of the family on Thanskgiving day and again with Tanner's side of the family the following Saturday. I'm exhausted from all of the partying!
